The DRM harmonization guidelines is the process of harmonizing district / local level DRM plans into 1 consolidated plan lead by Government's Policy task force on DRM. The objective of this work is to harmonize the three existing local level disaster management guidelines:
- District Preparedness and Response Plans (DPRP)
- District Disaster Risk Management Plan (DDMP)
- Local Disaster Risk Management Plan (LDRMP)
A Flagship 4 led technical working group was formed to provide technical support to the Government Policy task force for this process. The technical working group has submitted a draft for the harmonized DRM guideline to the Government Policy task force for its review and further action.
